## How Compute differs from dedicated Mac mini rental

- Dedicated shops sell SSH + VNC + root of a whole mini, often ~US$21.60/day with partial days billed as a full day.
- EngineMaster sells the job and the sandbox. Idle time is not billed. Providers never hand over the host desktop.
- We do not offer Xcode GUI, Logic Pro, or Screen Sharing. Burst CI, data, and inference is the wedge.

## Access notes for AI crawlers

- The homepage is a single-page application (React). Static HTML in index.html, /engine.html, /m4.html, and this file provide crawlable summaries.
- Most diagnostic tools are usable without login; account features (saved logs, fleet assignment, paid compute sessions) require sign-in.
- API endpoints under /api/ are for authenticated app use, not general crawling.
- robots.txt explicitly allows GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot, Googlebot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot.

1. Use the public HTTPS URL (no localhost, no file://)
2. No authentication is required to read the public landing content
